Boardman Cottage is a great place to work and learn new skills. Full time employees (more than 32 hours per week) are eligible for time-off benefits like vacation and sick leave. Part time employees have the opportunity to arrange a schedule that fits with other commitments.
The goal of Boardman Cottage employees is to provide a safe and comfortable home for residents. They prepare meals and perform the same types of housekeeping duties they would do in their own homes. They also help residents with personal care and activities that have become challenging for them. They provide companionship for residents and look for ways to brighten their day.
Our employees receive on-the-job training to keep resident records and care for special needs, and they can take training courses to increase their skills and compensation.
